CARRIE and I spent the evening setting up WordPress blogs. We’re running, stumbling, grasping and pulling ourselves onto the caboose of this new century that started from the station seven years ago. We have cell phones for the first time, we have posted videos to YouTube. Technology is exhausting. It really is amazing how it takes on a life of its own.
MOGS is asleep, of course. My legs and fingers are tingling from too much computer, so I will soon go up to join her. When she is bigger, I wonder what relationship she will have with the infinitely, absurdly connected world, the sticky Web that has at last drawn her mother and myself in?
